The Role of Fiber in Satiety and Weight Management – This study looks at a high fiber diet and its role in managing hunger during weight loss.
Antioxidants and Good Health – This study which is being conducted in the RLI metabolic unit looks at the role of various dietary interventions to increase antioxidant measures in the blood.
The Role of Solid vs Liquid Calories in Satiety – This study which is being conducted in the RLI metabolic unit explores the role of liquid vs solid calories in the context of mix nutrient meals and their effect on energy regulating hormones.
Weight Loss Studies – At any given time, RLI researchers are involved in numerous weight loss studies.
Advanced Technologies to Detect Asymptomatic Coronary Artery Disease – This study explores the use of advanced technologies including ultrasound and volume computed tomography to detect asymptomatic CAD in individuals with at least two risk factors for CAD.
Chronic Disease Risk Factor Reduction – This study looks at the role of various dietary interventions to lower the risk of chronic disease in individuals with at least two risk factors for heart disease.
Snacking and Satiety – RLI is currently engaged in two studies looking at the role of various snacks in satiety.
