Dr. Gugucheva is a Board Certified Internist and she serves as a Senior Staff Physician and the Medical Director of Executive Women’s Health at Rippe Health Evaluation. She received her medical degree from Pavlov Higher Institute of Medicine, Bulgaria and completed postgraduate training at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Gugucheva has been practicing medicine for almost ten years. Throughout her career she has acquired extensive experience in different aspects of medicine, including serving as a teaching attending physician at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut and experience in private practice. She has also been involved with medical research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Hospital in New York City. She has more recently served as a medical consultant to different organizations, including the State of Florida Department of Health, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Novartis Osteoarthritis Advisory Board, Schlesinger Associates, TNS Global, Adaptive Management Strategies, Inc. She has been honored with the Physician Recognition Award of the American Medical Association and she is a member of the American College of Physicians.
In her practice Dr. Gugucheva has always tried to motivate her patients to focus on lifestyle changes that promote good health. She lives a very active lifestyle, maintaining her personal fitness with an exercise program that includes a daily run and weight training. She lives in Winter Park with her husband, a Board Certified Cardiologist who practices with the Orlando Heart Center and their two children. |
